Principal's Message

Welcome to Getz Preschool where learning comes ALIVE! 

My name is Jennifer Whittington, principal at Getz Preschool and I’m honored to lead our learning community!

Getz Preschool is a magical place that fosters the social, emotional and cognitive development in all children providing early learning experiences that build a solid foundation for social emotional development, kindergarten readiness and language development. Our sense of community provides a safe early learning experience for all of our children and families. 

Specializing in services for children ages three to five years old who have developmental delays, Getz offers an Essential Skills class for those who are medically fragile with multiple disabilities. In addition to servicing our children who have developmental delays, we also encourage typical peers to join our learning community. We embrace an all inclusive learning environment that teaches compassion, understanding and getting along with others who are at different ages and stages of development. 

All of our teachers are certified in Special Education and Early Childhood Education, and focus on nurturing the development of young children through intentionally designed learning where all children have the opportunity to explore, investigate, and manipulate the world around them.

Families are an integral part of early learning experiences and I look forward to partnering with you and creating a positive learning experience for all of our early learners.
