OUR ROOTS

Getz School opened in 1980, named in honor of Charles (Edith) Getz. Getz participated in numerous civic and charitable activities in Tempe throughout the years. Her dedication brought success to Tempe for many years as she supported organizations including the Red Cross, City of Hope, March of Dimes, Cancer Society, and United Fund.
